Terms & Conditions

Please note by booking an appointment through Mendme uk Ltd Website you are agreeing to Mendme uk Ltd’s Terms & Conditions, and to attend the appointment you have booked. Please take the time to read through this information carefully.

Mendme Uk Ltd works closely with other independent practitioners and they use Mendme Uk website to offer their services. There services can be booked by contacting the practitioner direct or using Clinko online booking system. Each practitioner has been working with Mahendra for a number of years and they hold their own professional and public indemnity insurance. All practitioners are responsible for their own treatment of the clients booked through Mendme uk website and Mendme uk does not hold any responsibility for the treatment/service they offer.

 

APPOINTMENTS

You can make an appointment with any of the practitioners either by contacting them direct or using the online booking system. Appointments are available for a variety of durations from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Online booking

Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details. You will also receive an email reminder of the booking 24 hours prior to your appointment. If this is your first appointment with Mendme uk Ltd, you will also receive a New Client Consultation Form via email. Please complete and submit online as this will form the basis for your initial consultation.

Telephone booking

Telephone booking made directly with practitioners will be confirmed by text. For new client, the consultation form will be completed on the day of the treatment.

 

CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS

If you are late to your appointment, the session will continue with the remaining time available, and will conclude at the original agreed time for the same fee.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given to cancel an appointment. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur a cancellation fee of £45

An invoice for any cancellation / no show charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 7 days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further massage bookings can be taken.

Mendme.uk has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if the therapist is taken ill

Mendme.uk has the right to cancel or refuse treatment without notice if the client is is intoxicated, physically or verbally abusive towards any practitioner, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behavior. Such behavior may result in a partial or total ban from Mendme Uk Ltd, and may also result in criminal proceedings.

Mendme.uk commits to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within Four weeks of the cancelled treatment where possible

Payment

Mendme.uk accepts payment in cash or bank transfer.

Invoices are provided on request or sent to clients who have cancelled a treatment.

Invoices must be paid within 7 days of the issue date

Feedback

Mendme uk Ltd may ask for feedback and content of the feedback may be used in publicity material and on the website, with the permission of the client.

Website Content

Website content is managed at Mendme uk Ltd.

Photographs will only be displayed with the consent of the clients in the photograph

Photograph consent may be obtained by Mendme.uk verbally, or in writing

Photo release forms can be requested by phone or email

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

In order to provide our service, we collect personal data from you. Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.

All massage treatments, information and records will be safeguarded and will remain confidential.

Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

Any Client Consultations Forms and client treatment details held electronically by Mendme Uk Ltd or using Cliniko online booking system is held in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Personal and identifiable information will not be shared with any third parties, without your prior verbal permission.

You are entitled to see the information held about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If you wish to do this, please contact us via email at [email protected].

HEALTH & SAFETY

All practitioners at Mendme Ltd are qualified, and hold professional and public indemnity insurance, for the services that they provide.

P/Consultant permission may be required before treatments this can be provided in writing by the GP or consultant or a written confirmation from the client confirming permission has been authorised by the G.P/Consultant.
Clients are asked not to attend for a massage if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health. Please contact the practitioner you have booked with my telephone at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness, please note that our Cancellation Policy may still apply.

Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed treatment plan to be performed. They will be invited to stay in the room for the duration of the appointment, and expected to remain present throughout the treatment.

 

DISCLAIMER

Mendme uk Ltd provide massage therapy and bodywork in a variety of forms, but none of these bodywork modalities are a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. None of the practitioners at Mendme uk Ltd will diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatment of any kind, unless they are personally qualified to do so, and will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.

The client has a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of their knowledge, and to keep Mendme uk Ltd practitioners up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments they are having investigated or undergoing treatment for.

All practitioners at Mendme uk Ltd may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Mendme uk Ltd reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Likewise, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.
