I first met Mahendra through a family friend, who suggested that I speak to him, regarding my desire to pursue sports massage as a career. After observing him work for a day, I was amazed at the treatments he gave, and knew that this was exactly what I wanted to work toward becoming. Studying Physiotherapy at University made me realise that I enjoyed a hands on approach to treating people, yet didn’t know what direction to take this in, it was great that I had finally found this.
Ever since completing my Diploma in Sport massage in 2016, Mahendra has been teaching and guiding me through his thought processes on how he treats clients. I resonate well with his approach, which is to get to the root cause of the problem, and apply this to my treatment. I have been learning this through regularly exchanging massages with him and attending training courses. He has instilled great amounts of confidence in me, and has always pushed me to better.
The treatment that I specialise in is, deep tissue massage and muscle manipulation, mainly to achieve body re alignment. The advanced massage course I took in 2018 further confirmed how much I enjoyed this approach to treatment, by looking at the body as a whole.
Treating clients alongside Mahendra allows me to combine my knowledge, with techniques he has taught me, continuing on my learning path.
